After wooing the audience with his character of Alauddin Khilji in the period drama Padmaavat, the actor charmed the audience in an entirely different genre recently when he played the role of a corrupt cop in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba. Other than stepping into the shoes of a variety of characters, the actor reveals that he understands the responsibility that comes with fame and how important it is to meet the expectations of the people. He also says that the new age actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and others also have the responsibility to take forward the legacy of Indian cinema.
