Student of the Year 2, starring Tiger Shroff alongside the debut star kid Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria failed to impress the audience. The hype about SOTY 2 met a miserable end. The movie had a slow start at the box office and received no applauds. Student of the year 2 bagged only Rs 12 crore as day one collection. The weight to take the movie forward was heavy for Tiger Shroff. Baaghi 2 on the contrary earned Rs 25 crore on an opening day.
